I was interviewed by Asmara Bellydance Intiative, a nonprofit organization that facilitates and funds events celebrating belly dancers from the diaspora.

It was so great speaking with Sabia, and sharing how my views and perspectives on current issues in the belly dance community, and sharing how my dance education degree is shaping my ideas and thoughts on the art form.

Another dance show is here to melt your troubles away! Temporarily at least... 😊

Enjoy another evening of belly dance with the show Cure the Winter Blues... with Dance! hosted again by Amustela.  The show is FREE and begins Sunday, January 31 at 7pm EST.   Last show was a BLAST and I know this one will be as well... the lineup is full of passionate dancers!

Amustela of Charlotte, NC (formerly of Washington, DC) put on an AMAZING show this past Sunday with dancers from all over the US.  I was so honored to dance amongst such great artists and experience the energy of everyone's dancing! 

Check out the replay below. The passcode to access is Bye2020 and the replay is available until January 26, 2021.  There are two acts with an intermission in between.  I am in the first half of the second act. (second act begins around the 1:39:30 mark) ? 

It's the most wonderful time of the year!  My Christmas tree is up (my very, very first tree ever!) and I'm playing all my favorite holiday tunes, from The Temptations to the Jackson 5 to Mariah Carey.  I've also started watching my favorite holiday movies, like This Christmas and National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation. I can't be more excited!
